Hans Neuner is a two starred Austrian cook and restaurateur.
He comes from a tavern family in Leutasch & began cooking training in the gourmet restaurant of the Steigenberg Hotel Alpenkönig at the age of 15. In 1994 he moved to the Swiss Hotel Carlton in St. Moritz. Then he was, after a short stopover in London, Chef de game in the Fairmont Southampton Princess on the Bahamas, later in the same position on the ship Crystal Symphony. From 1999 to 2004 he worked at the Hotel Adlon in Berlin alongside his mentor Karlheinz Hauser, from 2004 he was chef in the Seven Seas in the Hotel Süllberg in Hamburg.
He has been working as a chef in Portuguese Porches since 2007. The restaurant was awarded the first star in 2009 by Michelin, & Neuner was named Portugal's cook of the year. In November 2011 the Ocean received the second Michelin star.
He is considered one of the most outstanding representatives of his guild in Portugal.
